Enjoy with your loved ones and stay Healthy. #HealthyCookingToYou written Recipe: https://goo.gl/oTBAAZ More Recipes On http://www.FoodFusion.com Whole Wheat Pita with Mince Filling Recipe in English: Ingredients: Whole Wheat Pita Bread: -Pani (Water) lukewarm ½ Cup -Khameer (Instant yeast) 1 & ½ tsp -Brown sugar powdered 1 tsp -Chakki ka aata (Whole wheat flour) sifted 1 Cup -Maida (All-purpose flour) sifted ½ Cup -Namak (Salt) ½ tsp -Olive oil 1 tbs -Pani (Water) lukewarm 1 Cup or as required Mince Filling: -Olive oil 2 tbs -Pyaz (Onion) chopped ½ Cup -Adrak lehsan (Ginger garlic) chopped 1 tbs -Hari mirch (Green chilies) chopped 1 tsp -Qeema (Mince of your choice) 300 gms -Kali mirch (Black pepper) crushed 1 tsp -Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste -Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 2 tbs Tomato Salsa: -Tamatar (Tomatoes) deseeded & chopped 1 Cup -Pyaz (Onion) chopped ½ Cup -Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 1 tbs -Zeera (Cumin seeds) crushed ½ tsp -Kali mirch (Black pepper) crushed ½ tsp -Hari mirch (Green chilies) chopped 1 tsp -Lemon juice 1 tbs -Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste Yogurt Dip: -Dahi (Yogurt) strained 1 Cup -Kali mirch (Black pepper) crushed ½ tsp -Lehsan (Garlic) crushed 1 tsp -Hari mirch (Green chilies) chopped 2 tsp -Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) chopped 1 tbs -Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste Assembling: -Pita bread -Cooked mince filling -Ice berg -Tomato salsa -Yogurt dip Directions: For Whole Wheat Pita Bread: -In lukewarm water,add instant yeast,brown sugar and mix well,cover and let it rest for 5 minutes. -In bowl,add whole wheat flour,all-purpose flour,salt and mix well. -Add olive oil and mix well. -Add yeast mixture and mix well. -Gradually add lukewarm water and knead until dough is formed. -Grease your hands with olive oil and grease the dough. -Cover and let it rest for 45 minutes or until double in size. -Knead dough again,take a small dough and make a ball. -Sprinkle flour and roll out dough with the help of rolling pin. -Option 1: Heat griddle and place pita,cook on low flame from both sides. -Option 2: Place pita breda on baking tray and bake in preheated oven at 230 C for 5-6 minutes. For Mince Filling: -In frying pan,add olive oil and onion,mix well. -Add ginger garlic crushed and mix well. -Add green chilies and mince,mix well and cook until changes color. -Add black pepper crushed and salt,mix & cook until done. -Add fresh coriander & set aside. For Tomato Salsa: -In bowl,add tomatoes,onion,fresh coriander,cumin seeds,black pepper crushed,green chilies,lemon juice and salt,mix well & set aside. For Yogurt Dip: -In bowl,add yogurt,black pepper crushed,garlic,green chilies,fresh coriander and salt and whisk well. Assembling: -Cut pita bread from the center,stuffed with cooked mince filling,ice berg,tomato salsa,yogurt dip & serve. Recipe in Urdu: Directions: For Whole Wheat Pita Bread: -Neem garam pani mein khameer aur brown sugar dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur dhak ker 5 minutes kliya rakh dein. -Bowl mein chakki ka atta,miada aur namak dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein. -Olive oil dal ker ache tarhan mix karein. -Khameer mixture dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein. -Thora thora ker ka neem garam pani shamil karein aur ghond ker dough tayyar ker lein. -Haathon ko olive oil sa grease karein aur dough ko grease ker elin. -Dhak dein aur 45 minutes ya size double hunay tak rakh dein. -Dough ko dubara ghond lein aur chota dough la ker ball bana lein. -Atta chirak dein aur dough ko rolling pin ki madad sa bail lein. -Option 1: Tawa garam karein aur pita bread ko rakh ker halki ancch per dono sides sa paka lein. -Option 2: Pita bread ko baking tray per rakh dein aur preheated oven mein 230 C per 5-6 minutes kliya bake ker lein. For Mince Filling: -Frying pan mein olive oil aur pyaz dal ker ache tarhan mix karein. -Adrak lehsan crushed dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein. -Hari mirch aur qeema dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur aur rang tabdeel hunay tak paka lein. -Kali mirch crushed aur namak dal ker ache tarhan mix karein aur pak janay tak paka lein. -Hara dhania dal ker side per rakh dein. For Tomato Salsa: -Bowl mein tamatar,pyaz,hara dhania,zeera,kali mirch crushed,hari mirch,lemon juice aur namak dal ker mix karein & side per rakh dein. For Yogurt Dip: -Bowl mein dahi,kali mirch crushed,lehsan,hari mirch,hara dhania aur namak dal ker ache tarhan whisk ker lein.
